Supporting Regenesis

Regenesis is a charitable, non-profit organisation and all donations are tax deductible.

The ongoing addiction recovery programs provided by Regenesis depend largely on charitable donations from private individuals, corporations and organizations.

Our funding needs can be supported in a variety of different ways:

Corporate Donations

Corporations may wish to talk to Regenesis about specific ways of donating, and in return Regenesis providing your organisations with:

  • intensive training for staff showing signs of addiction;
  • training for managers to recognize, identify and respond to signs of addiction;
  • specialist consulting services on handling work place drug and alcohol dependence related issues; or
  • workshops for your company on matters related to addiction, support and response to staff and family members with addiction.

We are a new addiction recovery centre and both philanthropic and government funding tends to go to long established organisations in larger cities.

Fortunately, we have received a seeding grant from the Alcohol Education and Rehabilitation Foundation and from other local grants. However under such funding arrangement we must seek and attract external funding.

With charitable donations we are able to secure funds to continue our current program, and to expand into the specialist areas of gambling, weekend programs and residential programs. Our hope for these expanded programs is a cherished dream for which we also need your financial support.

Ways of Supporting Regenesis

Sponsorship of one or more participants in the Program
A sponsorship will be given to the participants who are deemed to be in most need of financial assistance with their program costs. A sponsorship of one client for 3-5 months costs $4-7,000. Please contact Regenesis to arrange this sponsorship.

Making a financial Donation
Donations can be given for any amount. They can be given for general expenses, or you can specify which part of the program you would particularly like to contribute to. All donations are tax deductible.
Support Form

Donating building use, land use, or housing for program and participants.
Regenesis participants have a high need for affordable housing, which can be difficult to find. Some participants have multiple barriers to finding housing and employment such as a mental illness, or physical disability. Investment opportunities exist for private houses being offered at low rates to Regenesis participants.

The donation of the use or the ownership of land or buildings can provide extended opportunities for those in the Regenesis Program. For example, the Regenesis Program needs opportunities to develop land and gardening programs, and the use of buildings for exhibitions, performances, movement therapy, etc.

Joining the Regenesis 500 Club
Making a commitment of $500 or more each year for at least 3 years assists us in planned budgeting, while assisting you in knowing your money is going towards a benevolent organisation. Members will receive a small silver lapel pin, and groups or organisations will receive a certificate of membership as thanks for their contribution.

Becoming a Financial Member of Regenesis
At $25 per year, you can become a Member which entitles you to a newsletter and voting at the General Meetings.

Becoming a Friend of Regenesis
Being a Friend of Regenesis at $20 per year, you will receive a quarterly newsletter.

You can also respond to the following Request List of needed items at Regenesis:

  • Good quality wooden kitchen chairs
  • office equipment - computers, laptap, scanner, photocopier
  • musical instruments - African drums, percussion, piano
  • art materials - all mediums of art
  • kitchen crockery - glasses, cups, cooking pans/pots, storage containers
  • plants & seeds,
  • food - fresh food, rice, bread, other staples
  • gardening equipment - wheelbarrows, spades/shovels, gloves, ladder

  • Pledging annual donations.
  • Sponsoring an event.
  • Mentoring a participant of the program.
  • Businesses willing to provide 6 week work placements in their worksites. These placements will be supervised by Regenesis staff.
  • Leaving a Bequest to Regenesis.

Regenesis is grateful for all donations no matter the amount. Each of your gifts makes a difference. The support of our community and friends helps Regenesis to continue providing a quality addiction recovery program in the Southern Highlands of NSW.
